Dr. Mallory Primm (she/her) is a licensed clinical psychologist who contracts with the Chicago Center for Growth and Change to provide psychodrama group therapy services. She is a certified practitioner of psychodrama by the American Board of Examiners in Psychodrama, Sociometry, and Group Psychotherapy. Psychodrama is a form of expressive arts therapy that uses dramatic enactment to expand and deepen the purely verbal therapy method. She leads several daytime psychodrama groups, co-facilitates the Monday evening psychodrama group, and offers psychodrama personal growth workshops. Additionally, she trains mental health professionals in psychodrama as faculty at the Chicago Center for Psychodrama.
Dr. Primm has worked and trained in various settings, including a pediatric psychiatric hospital, schools, community mental health centers, a youth crisis center, and at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center’s (AIMMC) Behavioral Health Services (outpatient and obstetrics and gynecology clinics).
